General Description

Most Engineers charged with managing the external corrosion of their plant don't get the opportunity to see the vast array of techniques available to them, let alone discover which works and which does not. This training brings Engineers up to date with techniques, methods and materials that have the potential to massively reduce costs, increase corrosion prevention performance and have a huge beneficial impact on plant integrity. The training further, defines the links between Fabric Maintenance and Integrity Management and discusses the relative benefits / pitfalls of the several approaches currently available to do this. The ultimate goal of this training is that the trainee will have the tools and techniques to develop a fully structured and detailed strategy for external corrosion management on his plant, a documented management system and have defined the most cost effective approach for short and long term benefit of his plant.

There may be a contribution from outside suppliers to this training - where technology demonstrations and presentations can be effectively incorporated.
